J. in Oregon ran a Susan G. Komen 5K race in honor of ME!
I'm so flattered and so tickled. (pink!)
I wonder what the people running behind her thought of my hippie-love-child name.
Maybe, instead of an individual survivor, they thought J. was celebrating the magic of the universe, the miracle of life, the everlasting yes.
Maybe she was. I wouldn't put it past her.

You rock Mage. I feel so special seeing my name at the top of your blog. I'm famous! I thought a lot about your name during this run and what people must have thought of it. I felt very groovy and mysterious...like you! This run was so inspiring. Portland really puts on a good show for Susan G. Komen. 45000 strong! Wow.
