This is Jan and Carrie logging in for Mage. She is Cancer Free! Woo hoo! She sounds good and is on her way home with her mom to recuperate. She said that she will be recovering for the next few days and would love visitors. (Just not tonight, please.) :)

At 12:25 pm on Monday July 7th I was diagnosed with breast cancer. At 1:05 on the same day, for unrelated reasons, I was fired from my job. I started this blog to stay in touch with my friends and family when I was too overwhelmed to return my phone calls. In August, I had a mastectomy. I am now completely cancer-free. I'm still unemployed, and plan to remain so for a little while longer, at least.
